Those are the words of the 1981 World Rally Champion, Ari Vatanen. In many ways, the words ring true for me too, as I grew up on a staple diet of rallying and Escorts. To me, watching an Escort RS1800 in the forest, even at the tender age of eight or nine, was as close to perfect as you could get.
